Privacy, in plain language.

This notice explains how Influenced VA handles information shared through the website and initial enquiry process. It is written to be useful, not decorative.

What we collect

When you contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, business type, and the work you want help with. We do not ask for passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive client data through this website.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to reply, understand whether the service is a fit, prepare a proposed scope, and keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

How enquiries are sent

If no dedicated form-processing service is configured, submitting the form opens an email draft on your device. You choose whether to send it. If a form-processing service is configured later, this notice will be updated to identify it.

External services

This site uses hosting infrastructure, externally hosted editorial images, and a server-side exchange-rate service. Image and hosting providers may receive standard technical information such as an IP address, browser type, and request time when content is loaded. Exchange rates are requested by our server without your enquiry details. Links to other websites are governed by their own privacy notices.

Currency preference

The site uses your browser language and time-zone settings to choose an initial display currency. It does not request precise location. If you choose another currency, that preference is saved in your browser so it can be used on your next visit.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not currently use advertising cookies or an analytics service. If that changes, this notice and any consent controls will be updated before those tools are used.

Retention and protection

We keep enquiry and engagement records only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, an active engagement, legal obligations, or legitimate business records. Access is limited to the people who need it, and agreed client systems are handled using least-privilege access.

Your choices and rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, object to processing, or ask for deletion where the law allows. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Privacy questions or requests can be sent to tracey@influencedva.com. South African data subjects may also find guidance and complaint channels through the Information Regulator.
